These are the greatest pillows, period. I can't sleep without it. I even take it on trips with me.
It's firmish and supportive, but squishy and molds to your head, and hypo allergenic!
I bought two of these pillows first at Costco -- One for me and one for my husband.
But, he kept stealing mine because he loved it so much! I loved mine too so I went back about
a month later and bought two more. Well, we've loved them to death and now I wasn't able to
find them ANYWHERE, until now. I love this pillow. Thank you OnlineShopDealer for carrying it!
FINALLY, a comfortable pillow that holds its shape
I used to literally go through 2-3 pillows a year, trying to find one that would work for my screwed-up neck (I've had whiplash multiple times) and that would hold its initial fullness. I have tried the $100 Isotonic pillow (didn't like the bump that forces you to have your neck perfectly straight, plus it softened out), gusseted pillows that still broke down in the middle, cheaper foam pillows, firm pillows, soft pillows, etc. My neck ALWAYS hurt, and even if one of those pillows helped for a little while, they always broke down and I'd start tossing and turning and getting a stiff neck and shoulders every morning.
I bought this Sleep Innovations memory foam pillow a little less than a year ago and I still LOVE it. It's firmer on one side than the other, so if you're a back or stomach sleeper you can use the softer side, and if you're a side sleeper, you can use the firmer side. But it also actually feels thicker on the firmer side, if that makes sense. If I put it on the bed the wrong way, I immediately notice that it's not full enough when I am on my side. Flip it over and it's perfect. I get exceptional support that is soooo comfortable.
What I especially like about this pillow is that it's firm enough with hurting my ears! I guess I press my head hard into my pillow, and any other pillow that I've used that is firm enough to hold its shape without compressing too much would actually hurt my ears. I'd have to use a softer pillow and put a folded towel beneath it to make it thicker. I have never had to do that with this pillow, and while it's softened up a bit over the past year, I just need to fluff it before bed and I'm good for the night. I also sleep with better posture and am not contorting my neck or shoulders trying to get comfortable. I do a LOT less tossing and turning with this pillow (I also have a Sleep Innovations memory foam mattress with the gel layer and would highly recommend it!) I only wish they made it in a king size.
I take this pillow with me everywhere we travel by car, even for just an overnight stay. And I'm certain it's a big reason I rarely have to go to the chiropractor for my neck anymore, after having to go 2-3x/month for nearly 20 years. (I think I have been 4 times total this year, which is amazing.) I finally convinced my husband, who's had neck surgery, to try it out, and after maybe 5 seconds of lying on it, he immediately said, "Yes, get me one." His pillow had completely flattened out. If I could afford to buy one for every family member at once, I would! Truly the best pillow I have ever used!!
My neck pain is gone!!
I had been waking up with neck pain and stiffness for months, so I started looking for a more supportive pillow. After reading many reviews I decided on the Sleep Innovations pillow. When I received it, I was very dissapointed. I thought it would be thicker, with more support. I was very close to sending it back but decided to try it. My neck pain was GONE the first night I used it. I have had it for a few weeks now and waking up pain free. I am sold!!
Love, love, love it!
I've slept on this pillow for three nights now, and I absolutely love it! I couldn't wait to post an early review. I'm 32 years old, 5'8", 130 lbs, moderately active, and sleep on a soft pillow-top mattress. I'm mostly a side sleeper but also a back sleeper some of the time. This pillow works wonderfully for both. I don't know how they did it, but it truly does function very well as both a marshmallow soft pillow and a more supportive but somehow still soft side sleepers' pillow. I have several piercings in each ear and no matter which side of the pillow I lay on I can't feel the jewelry at all! Never knew a pillow could do that. I've been using a memory foam type for 6 months, but it's always felt just a bit too firm for me, and the piercings. This is so much better!
I'm prone to neck and shoulder tension, pulls and strains, and I can't tell you how many times I've woken up barely being able to move with other pillows. So far the Sleep Innovations Reversible 2-in-1 Bed Pillow has relieved the tension on my neck and given me three nights of comfortable sleep, w/ less waking and tossing/turning.
The foam part of the pillow is actually a separate insert that is removable (a nice option to have) and about 1 1/2" thick. I didn't notice any odor when I first took it out of the box, although I let the pieces air out separately for half a day before using it anyway. I've been searching for a good pillow for a long time and I'd say this is the happiest I've ever been with a pillow so far. Very glad I bought this instead of the more expensive water pillow I was considering.
pillows are very personalized items, and although some people may find this pillow very comfortable, others may find the pillow's size too large or small for their liking. i personally think this pillow is a decent size, the foam is very nice and the regular side is.. well regular. the nice part about this pillow is that if you really hate the height of the pillow (the biggest problem that i have with pillows) then you can just take the foam part out and put it inside another pillow. people sometimes complain about the smell of memory foam, but i didnt think this pillow smelled bad at all. i did however take it out of the packaging and pillow case and aired it out for a few hours as a precautionary method. overall, i am very pleased with my purchase. i enjoy sleeping on my pillow on my side, or on my stomach.
Helped my neck pain
I was about 7 months pregnant when I bought this pillow. I was waking up with horrible neck and back pain to where it was hard to move my head and I was miserable. I researched different pillows and didn't really want to spend a fortune so I took a chance on this one. I'm so glad I did. My neck was so much better after sleeping on it the fist night. I'm a side sleeper and occasionally on my back, but being pregnant, I could only sleep on my side. I find the memory foam part much more comfortable. After 2 or 3 days, my neck pain was gone. My husband used it once and loved it. Going to buy another one for him.
I searched for some time for a pillow that I could use both for side sleeping and back sleeping. I do not sleep on my stomach. I have arthritis and need to have my head up just a bit on my side and lower when on my back. I found a 2 in 1 pillow at Kohl's that fit the bill. It was almost the same as the Sleep Innovations pillow, but cost $100. I decided to take a chance and order the Sleep Innovations Reversible 2-in-1 Pillow. It appears to be very close to the same as the Kohl's pillow at about 1/3 the price. The one side has a memory foam like slab which has a little stiffness, just enough. The other side is fairly soft. It does not puff up too much as did the stiffer pillows I tried. When I'm on my side I use the foam side and when on my back the fluffy side. I've found that if I have to switch sides,I barely notice it in the night. I highly recommend this pillow.
I freaking love this pillow!
I have to say this pillow is one of my new favorite things. I'll be honest and say prior to this I had the same pillow for more than 14 years. I had one of the old bouncy foam pillows that probably has 100 things in that that give me cancer but I couldn't let it go. It smelled and I couldn't wash the cover anymore because the foam was so degraded inside that it would have fallen apart had I taken the cover off. I tried a number of other pillows on the market from the cheap-o Target special to the expensive high-end and couldn't find a pillow I could sleep more than a night with.
Enter the "Sleep Innovations Reversible 2-in-1 Bed Pillow". I bought it thinking it would just be one more pillow we threw in the hall closet for guests but boy was I wrong. I started on the down-like filled side and while it was amazingly comfortable it wasn't like my old foam pillow. Had this been any other pillow I would have tossed it in the floor and grabbed my old stand-by. But wait! I could flip this pillow and be treated to a whole other pillow experience! I flipped the pillow and was greeted with the firm yet comfortable memory foam side. I'd tried other memory foam pillows in the past but they seemed too dense for my liking. This one is perfect as I get the support and comfort of memory foam with the benefit of the down substitute underneath it to provide a little bounce.
If you've been searching for a new pillow because your old one should have been buried with your childhood pet... get this one. You won't be disappointed!
Best pillow I've ever owned.
I was in the market for new pillows and I came across this listing. I read the reviews and purchased. I'm so glad I did. I will be ordering more soon.
i bought this pillow for my sister for her birthday. she has alot of neck issues and she has tried several different pillows,so i thought this is just what she needs, support on one side and softness and support on th eother side.my sister just loves it.she has been sleeping on it for a month now and would recommend this pillow to everyone who needs neck support,it doesnt matter if you are a back or side sleeper it works pefect.i wouldnt recommend it if you are a stomach sleeper.i think i will have to get one for myself.
