Powers and charges your various devices. Handy built-in flashlight, carry case and AC Adapter
The RAVPower Dynamo-On-The-Go Power Bank is a very useful gadget. Its compact size makes it easily pocketable or storable in your purse, backpack, computer case or just about anywhere. Not only will it charge the batteries in many devices such as iPhone, iPad, iPod and other smartphones, it will also extend the useful operating time of those devices. And as an added feature the battery pack includes a small LED flashlight.
I have succesfully used this Power Bank on numerous devices including: Nexus 7 tablet, iPad3, iPhone4, Samsung HMX-H205 camcorder, Sansa Clip and Sansa Fuze mp3 players.
It is possible to use your device while it is connected to the Power Bank. The Power Bank is able to charge or operate a single device at a time as there is only a single USB output port. Depending on the capacity of the battery in the device you are charging, you may be able to charge that device a couple times. However a device with a large capacity battery (greater than than the 5200 mAh like the iPad) will not be able to be fully charged but will certainly have a good amount of power restored to it after connecting to the Power Bank.
The Power Bank includes 7 different tips to fit a variety of devices, Among the most useful tips are the micro-USB, mini-USB and USB. If there isn't an included tip to fit your device, like for Apple products, you can simply use the USB cable provided with your device.
The Power Bank has a button to turn it on and off. Below that button is a set of blue LED's that indicate the charge status of the battery. 1 light indicates <25%, 2 lights indicates 25-50%, 3 lights indicates 50-75% charge and all 4 light means there is from 75%-100% charge.
There are two ports; a micro-USB input port for charging the battery pack and a USB port for the output. On the same end as the USB port is a low-output LED flashlight. Contrary to what the instructions say, the flashlight turns on/off by a 2-3 second press and hold of the power button (the instructions say to quickly double-press the button)
RAVPower also includes 2 USB cables; a short 7" cable and a longer cable. Both USB cables are designed with a receiving end for the tips. There is also a 5V/1A AC power adapter included in the package. This is something that is not included with other battery packs that I have owned and it's appreciated because it is tiny and means I don't have to carry around an additional AC Adapter. The Power Bank can also be re-charged by using the USB port on your computer, but will take a long time to charge because of the low output provided by the computer USB port.
All of this fits into a nice little flannel bag with drawstring closure that is included with the Power Bank.
UPDATE: In my video I say mini-USB when I meant to say micro -USB in referring to the charging port on the device. Sorry for the confusion. My brain just wasn't cooperative.
I was provided a sample for review.
A beautifully packaged battery pack with built in cables for your devices!
One of the things that is hard about traveling is carrying all of the accessories you need on your trip to either work or play while away from home. Here is a wonderful battery pack with built in cables for your Apple products (for the new Apple connector you have to use your own cables) , Android products using micro USB ports and it still has a built in USB female port for all of your other devices. There is even a cable for charging the battery pack built in. It can charge your Apple devices with up to 2.1 Amps and really provide a boost to your tablet or smart phone.
This is a beautifully packaged charger that has some unique features built in. It uses Lithium-Polymer battery technology and carries a 6000 mAh capacity. In my testing it was one of the fastest battery chargers I have seen and my test results show that. I have included a video of the Power Bank's features and I hope it is helpful to you.
My wife really liked the design and the fact that she did not have to carry extra cables in her purse. The unit weighs only 6 1/8 ounces and easily fits into a purse, briefcase or a jacket pocket. It is MFI certified which means that it is made for iPod, iPhone and iPad use and it uses an original Apple 30 pin charging connector.
Five LEDs indicate the battery charge level and each one represents a 20% charge level. I had good results in my testing and it charged my iPhone, iPad 2 and iPad 3 quickly. It did get a little warm when charging an iPad 3 and reached 104░ F which is noticeable but not dangerous. It is pumping out 2.1 Amps and you can tell. This is the fastest charge boosting battery pack I have tested so far and raised an iPhone 4 battery charge 1% per minute for the first 30 minutes.
This is a very good product and below I have listed its features and benefits as well as my test data for your review. Please take the time to quickly watch the video and if you have any questions send me a comment and I will try to help you. I rate this as a five star product and I recommend it to you.
xRobot Main Features:
* 6000 mAh capacity
* The unit is compact and weighs in at 6 1/8 ounces.
* Very attractive design
* It has 5 LED status lights that indicate the battery charge level at 20% per LED.
* This battery pack carries the MFI certification which means it is made for iPad, iPhone and iPod and is certified to work with and meet Apple standards for those products. The Apple connector on the device comes from Apple.
* The unit features a built in Apple 30 pin plug, a micro USB plug for your Android and Kindle products, a USB female port for charging other devices and a USB male plug for charging the battery pack.
* The power output is 5 VDC at 2.1 Amp from the Apple connector
* Power output for the USB port and micro USB cable is 5 VDC at 1 Amp.
* The maximum current output is 2.1 Amps.
* The battery pack can charge 2 or 3 devices but when 1 or 2 devices current draw exceeds 2.1 amps the other port/ports shut off.
* Automatic on when you plug in a device that begins to charge and automatic off when your electronic device is charged.
* Uses Lithium-Polymer battery design.
* Warranty is 1 year
Performance while charging various devices with the RavPower:
* Kindle Fire at 60% and RavPower 6000 fully charged
* 30 min 75% and 5 LEDs
* 60 min 90% and 4 LEDs
* 90 min 100% fully charged and 3 LEDs
Fully charged RavPower 6000 charging an iPhone 4 starting at 53 percent:
* 30 min 82% and 5 LEDs
* 60 min 94% and 5 LEDs
* 90 min 100% and 5 LEDs
I then charged and iPad 3 that was at 57% with the same RavPower 6000 that had just charged the iPhone 4 and it charged the iPad from 57% to 86% over night and then shut off.
iPad 2 at 38 % and RavPower 6000 at full charge
* 30 min 57% and 4 LEDs
* 75 min 84% and 2 LEDs
* 105 min 93% and 1 LED
* 135 min 98% and 1 LED
* 153 min 100% and 1 LED blinking
Limitations of device charging:
* iPhone 4 battery 1,420 mAh battery capacity
* iPhone 4S battery 1,432 mAh battery capacity
* iPad 2 battery 6,944 mAh battery capacity
* iPad 3 battery 11,560 mAh battery capacity
* Kindle Fire battery 4400 mAh capacity
* Kindle Keyboard battery 1750 mAh capacity
As you can see the RavPower 6000 will not fully charge a totally dead iPad 2 or 3 because it only contains 6000 mAh of capacity. It will add to your usage time and my suggestion is to turn off the iPad while charging or start charging very early and use the RavPower 6000 battery first while saving as much of your iPad battery as possible. You have to consider the losses in the charging circuits of both the battery pack and the device you are charging.
RavPower device charging real world experience:
* iPhone 4 3+ full charges out of a fully charged RavPower 6000
* iPad 2 approximately 73% of a full charge
* iPad 3 approximately 45% of a full charge
* Estimated at 85% of capacity or .85 * 6000 mAh = 5100 mAh charging capacity for your electronic devices.
* This charger outputs a lot of current when charging an iPad 3 and gets just a little bit warm to about 104 degrees F.
Issues to be aware of:
* A full charge to a depleted RavPower 6000 will take 13.2 hours with your computer.
* You can also charge the RavPower 6000 with your car's USB charger or your AC wall charger.
* A wall or car charger outputting 1 Amp will charge the RavPower 6000 battery in 6.6 hours.
* A wall charger that outputs 2.1 Amps will charge the RavPower 6000 battery pack in 4.2 hours.
* From dead empty after heavy use to 100 percent charge took 5 hours using a 2.1 amp charger.
This is a good product and deserves a 5 Star rating.
I received a sample product for evaluation and I promised to provide a fair and honest review.
Delivery is fast and the item was in perfect condition, as expected!
I bought this extra battery for my iPhone 4S. Design is nice and compact with good capacity. Charged my 4S twice from one RAVPower charge and still has one blue led bar on. Came with several adapters for various cell phones and devices. It took me a while to figure how to plug it to my phone because it comes with many different plugs but once figured I felt silly. I can use it to charge up my Verizon Hotspot, bluetooth headphones and my iPad. Charging seems to be as fast as an usb adapter.
To summarize: This to me is the ideal battery pack. It's so cheap and small that I wouldn't see any reason to buy one with lower capacity. Definitely recommend!
Convenient Built-In Cables, Compact Size Make xRobot Power Bank an Excellent Carry-Along
The built-in cables are the reason why I really love this compact RAVPower xRobot External Battery Pack. The whole power bank is about the same size as my Motorola Droid Razr 4GLTE smartphone--just a little thicker--which makes it easy to carry along with the phone in a handbag, tote, or pocket. (The power bank measures about 2-1/2" wide by 4" high by 1" thick.)
The three cables (with USB, iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, and Micro connectors) all fit--perfectly flat--into recesses in the case. This means you don't need to carry a particular device's charging cables with you to be able to power the device if it needs recharging. The xRobot's cables are short--they have to be to fit into the small case's recesses--but they never tangle. The xRobot cables work with my Kindles (Keyboard, Paperwhite, Fire 1st Gen, Fire HD 8.9"), iPad, iPod Touch 4th Gen, and Droid Razr smartphone to supply power, emergency or otherwise. The USB cable charges the xRobot itself, if you plug it into a USB AC adaptor, PC USB port, or USB car charger.
So far, I've used the xRobot mainly for recharging my smartphone. The xRobot charges the phone completely in about the same time as it takes to charge the phone from a Phillips charging station connected to an AC outlet. The xRobot gave me three full smartphone charges before it needed to be recharged itself. (I haven't tried to fully recharge an iPad or Kindle tablet, but I know that the xRobot will keep one going for a while.) The xRobot has LED lights that show you how much power remains in the power banks, and it recharges quickly.
This little external battery pack provides a lot of insurance against being unable to use an electronic device when you're away from home. And, as I've already discovered, it's great to grab when you're headed out the door, or need to use your smartphone instead of your home phone, and discover unhappily that your smartphone is in immediate need of recharging.
Compact and useful power bank
The RAVPower Dynamo-on-the-Go is a deceptively small power bank. It measures less than 3 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 7/8" and weighs about 5 oz. but can fully recharge most cell phones two or three times and my iPod Shuffle at least five times. It will also recharge a Kindle or even an electric shaver, really any small electronic device that one of the seven included tips will fit OR which has its own charging cable that fits a USB port.
Remember to take the right connecting tips or cables and to push the power button once to start charging a device. It will stop charging automatically when the receiving battery is fully charged or thirty seconds after it's disconnected.
I charge the RAVPower Dynamo-on-the-Go with a USB wall converter but it can also charge through a laptop USB port. There's a four-stage LED capacity display initiated by pressing the power button.
In addition to the seven adapter tips, two cables are included, one 7" long and one 28" long, plus a thick velveteen pouch that is intended to hold the power bank although I use it to store the extra tips and cable. The Dynamo very sturdy and I have dropped it on the hardwood floor without damage.
The LED flashlight is a nice bonus--perfect for finding keys in a purse or to use in an unfamiliar hotel room in the middle of the night without having to turn on a light.
The Dynamo-on-the-Go is a necessity for traveling and to keep in the glove compartment but it's also handy to have on hand when you forget to charge your cell phone or MP3 player overnight and need to charge it on-the-run. It's nice not to have to worry so much about having a full charge and I highly recommend these for peace of mind as well as convenience.

EDIT: I used this as both a flashlight and to recharge my little MP3/radio to get the news for a week while the power was out after the hurricane a few weeks ago. This proved so very useful to have on hand.
RAVPower Luster 6000mAh Backup External Battery Pack Power Bank Charger
This charger is perfect for on the go. I have been using it for quite some time and it never fails me. I mostly use it for my Galaxy Note 3. But it can be used on many devices. It connects with a USB and USB mini port. It even has an intelligent LED status bar to indicate how much battery is left. Also, it has a built in flashlight that works very well.
The battery itself contains a Samsung 18650 power cell. It has built in security protection for a short circuit and over current protection. So the unit will shutdown, if either occurs. It has a very lightweight design. Weighs just a bit over 5 ounces. It is 3.9 inches long and 1.6 inches wide. The thickness is just under an inch.
Using it is very simple. It has the intelligent LED status bar showing the battery left. Right next to it is the power button. You just connect the device and press the button on. If you need to use the flashlight, you just hold the button for about 5 seconds or less. When you are done charging and the power bank is disconnected, it will automatically shut down after a few seconds. So that it conserves the battery life.
Its 2.1A output gives it a very fast charge. I usually use this when I get down to about 25% give or take a few percent. It will fully power my device in about 45 minutes. That leaves me with enough power in the bank to charge it an additional one or two times more.
It comes in four different colors, black, blue, gold and pink. It also comes with a mesh carrying pouch and a micro USB cord. The best news is the price $27.99 and FREE shipping. They also have great customer support at RAVPower and each device comes with a one year warranty. Also a money back guarantee.
I have been using RAVPower products for quite some time now and I have to say, I am never disappointed. You can find all their products at [...]. You can order this product from there and it will take you to the OnlineShopDealer store to complete the purchase. Give it a go if you have power needs!

Powerful little guy!!
This is my second power bank with RAVPower an they really stick up to the name. This is a great External Battery because you don't have to carry any extra wires with you when you need a boost of charge.
Design: There are 3 Ports to charge you electronics 1 Apple certified 30 pin dock connecter, 1 micro USB and 1 USB slot for any devices that don't fit a micro or apple 30 pin connecter. For ex: Apple lighting cable. (For iPhone 5 iPad and iPods) It has a built in USB to charge the item itself. The power bank has nice white finished to it. There are 5 LED lights that light up white.
Performance: I was very impressed on how well the over all power bank perform when you first received the item it comes with 4 bars of battery life. I was able to charge my iPhone 4s twice . It takes about 2 hours to charge the iPhone. When the power bank is fully charge (5 Bars) I was able to charge an iPod Touch 5 generation (took about an hour and a half to charge). A Samsung galaxy S3 ( Took about 2 hours to charge) A iPhone 4S (Took about 2 hours to charge) and then I was able to charge my iPhone again from 60% to 95%. Then the Power Bank had to be charge. Something that I found impressive was how fast the xrobot charge up. The xRobot only took 4 hours to charge.
Pros: All the cables you need are right there.
Light weight, easy to carry around with you.
Fast charging only 4 hours to complete charge the XRobot
Con: There are really no negatives. Some things I would like to see would be the price be lower and and more power inside the xRobot.
I would recommend this product to you this is a great external battery for on the go
This was sent to be for an honest review
Everything I wanted it to be
I purchased this product to provide a backup power supply for my iPhone. I was doing a century bike ride and did not think my iPhone battery would hold up for the 6 hours in the saddle while using it to track my distance. This device was light and compact and at the end of the 6 hours in the saddle the battery percentage on my phone was at 100% and the battery pack itself was 75%. Everything worked out great!
Excellent battery pack with good looking luster and it works very well!
-RAVpower 6000mAh Battery Pack
-Coiled micro USB cable
The RAVpower 6000mAh Dual USB Battery Pack is perfectly size for carrying power around for when you need it. It has a 6000mAh battery inside. It has 1 USB port and a micro USB port. The USB port is rated at 2.1 amps and the micro USB port can charge the battery pack at 1.5 amps. I have charged my iPhone 5 2-3 times with this battery pack. The battery pack feels well-built and feels like it will not fail on me. It is pretty light (141.5 grams) and won't noticeably add weight to your bag like other larger battery packs. It has a 4 LED power level indicator that tells you how much power is left. This battery pack also has an LED flashlight that works fine but is not that bright. I really like this battery pack because I can leave it in my bag and use it to charge my iPhone when I need it and it is very small.
One con is that the power level indicator LED's are very dim and need a rather dark place to see them.
The colors look amazing. They also all have good looking luster. The battery pack looks very cool and I really like the design of it.
Overall, this battery pack has features that I like and has a lot of power to go around. I recommend this product to anyone looking for portable power that is small and portable.
I was supplied a sample for test and evaluation, for free to keep, and I promised that my review is fair and honest.
Handy little thing
The product is well made, holds about 3-4 charges to my HTC sensation. Regardless how amazing the product is, after a while use I discovered, this way of charging my phone on the go really isn't for me. My batteries has started draining on a fast rate (battery has reached the end of its life) so I would find myself constantly charging it and it's kinda difficult to do so when I'm trying to be on it as well (with the charging cable attached while charging) so I finally just bought 3 new replacement batteries for my phone so for those of you who are looking for a portable battery, this is a good product to get and it comes with a flash light too :)
