Sturdy, no assembly, great for drying my socks and sweaters
I LOVE this drying rack. Love love love. The chrome looks great, it's well-made, and makes drying my sweaters (and other dainty things) a breeze.
There's nothing to assemble or screw/bolt together; it unfolds and sets-up right out of the box. When in use, the unit is sturdy -- the top 'deck' is best for underwear and socks, and then each bar can be used for a sweater or two. The design is conducive to airflow, and things dry pretty quickly.
It folds up completely and is quite svelte: it fits in the space between washer and dryer, or will easily store in a closet or behind a shelf.
Good Size & Space Saving
This rack is a huge improvement over my old plastic rack that was a real piece of doo doo. Unlike the smaller plastic rack, this rack is much more sturdy, looks much nicer & can dry a lot more without collapsing. The only thing I don't care for is it is difficult to get the top two sides to snap onto the top bar to keep the entire unit upright & ready to use. Same goes for when it needs to be folded back up for storage - it is a bit tough to get unhooked. There are little tabs on the side that I think you press to release, but they don't seem overly helpful. There were no instructions ( you just pull it up flip the top over so that the hooks can clip onto the bar so instructions really don't seem necessary) regarding the tabs.
My home is heated exclusively by a wood stove, so drying clothes sans electric dryer makes a lot of sense. Laundry dries quickly & adds a tad bit of moisture back into the air while drying. No need to run up the electric bill. Not only is this rack great for all our smaller laundry items, it is also good for drying bunches of herbs indoors thanks to it's height.
When not in use it tucks away out of sight between the wall & the washing machine (when folded down).
Like darn near everything these days, this is made in China.
Very Nice Drying Rack!
This is a very nice drying rack that is good for anyone who is currently drying things that shouldn't be on a hanged on a hanger, draping wet clothes over a railing, banister, piece of furniture, etc. If you have a significant amount of "no dryer" laundry, this product is for you.
Why? Things will dry better, faster, and with less wrinkles. You can confine your air drying to a small consolidated space instead of all over the house. When you need it, it assembles in about 10 seconds. When you don't need it, it easily collapses and only measures 3.25" high, which means this will easily stow under a bed, in a corner of your closet, etc.
It looks good, holds a lot of clothes, doesn't tip easily, has rubber feet that protect the floor, yet you can still slide it if you need to. I can't find a single weakness in this product. Just about every home needs one. Except probably not a family of nudists. Everyone else though.
OnlineShopDealerBasics Foldable Drying Rack, Chrome
This foldable drying rack is very light and can be carried around on one hand. At the same time, its incredible lightness makes it usable for light clothing, delicates, etc. but not for heavier things like winter jackets, sweaters, etc. since because of its lightness, it's not very stable. Even though the description says it's made of steel, the horizontal rods themselves are bendable under pressure (if you grip them with your hands) and unlike the vertical ones are black in color. If you tap them, however, a noise emits. This, combined with the overall lightness, make me wonder if the material it's made of is steel/chrome combined with something else. Nevertheless, this drying rack is helpful to have around as an alternative to the dryer, which also helps save on the energy bills. The fact that it's readily foldable and so light also makes it very mobile. The size is medium--enough to hang several light clothing items at once.
Great Durable Drying Rack
I saw this drying rack and decided to try it out. I just started air drying my jeans and didn’t have any place that I could lay them out on that was not a cat perch so this came up at the right time.
This is solid steel. No flimsy aluminum. No weak flipping around or fear of bending. This rack is made to last. It smoothly opens up, holds my jeans well without wobble, and folds back up for easy storage.
I love it. It’s hard to find good, durable things that are meant to last for a good price. But if you are looking for a drying rack, make sure to add this one to you list. You won’t be disappointed.

Folds Up and Folds Down!
This drying rack is very handy, as it is both lightweight and sturdy. It pulls up to a very nice height and folds down to a very compact and easy to store single layer rack. It has a lot of space on which to hang clothing up to dry. And it is very nice.
