quality item
Thicker and even softer than the last 400 t.c. cases I bought. They wash well and are a delight.

Wonderful pillowcases!
These pillowcases are very well made; strong, sturdy, yet soft and comfortable. I would most definitely recommend them! Well worth the price.

What's all the fuss about?
I'm very happy with these pillowcases -- soft, nice sheen, great quality fabric, nice detail on the hem, and the soft blush color is just as advertised and very attractive. Don't understand the other reviewers who complained of excessive wrinkling -- 100% cotton will do that -- maybe they're used to poly blend linens? And I don't find them to be "sweaty" as one reviewer complained. I'm pretty picky about high quality cotton bed linens and these are juuuust right -- esp for the price.

Great price and nice item
These are amazingly soft right out of the package. Don't know how they'll hold up after washings, but so far impressed. I buy a lot of high thread count sheets and these did have the "wow" factor. For the price... excellent.

Great Buy !!!
Very nice pillow cases, I found that they wash and dry great, people that said they were wrinkley must not of followed directions on how to wash because I washed in cold and dryed on delicate setting and they came out PERFECT!! I am buying other colors now, I would reccommend these covers !!!

Everything I wanted in a pillowcase
When I bought the Pinzon pillowcases I was looking for a nice, simple, high quality case to use. These delivered on all parameters. Great material, quality construction. I couldn't be more pleased with the product.

Great Sheets! Great Pillowcases!
I was a little worried about purchasing these sheets when I saw some of the reviews. When I got the sheets I immediately washed them and placed them on the bed. The first night sleeping on them was amazing. They were so soft and comfortable. My finance and I both love them and even commented on how they make you want to just stay in bed in the morning after it is time to get up. I am not sure why other reviews felt they were stiff. I have had no problems with them being stiff nor scratchy. They feel so nice and silky on the skin and at the same time are not too hot. I also went back and purchased more pillow cases for our extra pillows. These sheets are well worth it. We keep a few sets of sheets in rotation, but I have a feeling these are going to end up on the bed more so than any of the other sheets. I ordered the standard pillowcases and they fit all of our pillows perfectly, even the temperpedic pillows. Speaking of them is making me want to go lay down right now.

Just what I was looking for.
I was looking for pillowcases, in the standard size, that were very smooth and soft. These fit the bill perfectly. Perfect color, too.

Nice pillow case
I was a little hesitant due to other reviews, but these are really nice heavy sheets. They are attractive with their Pinzon Hemstitch and very comfy to sleep in. Definitely what I was looking for in a Pillow case.

Gettin all Snuggie in Copper
As a back-up set of pillow cases, this set fits the bill. The only reason they aren't a main set is because the color doesn't quite match the sheets.

For softness and comfort - you wont be disappointed!

Fabric Definitions
Egyptian Cotton: Egyptian cotton is used to make some of the highest quality linens in the world, including sumptuously soft bath and bed linens. Egyptian cotton is grown to produce a longer staple, or fiber, than generic cotton, and the longer and finer a cotton staple is, the better able it is to be spun into finer count yarns, which in turn can be knitted or woven into soft, fine, and luxurious fabrics. The staple length in Egyptian cotton averages 1-1/8 to 1-1/2 inches, but can reach over 2-1/4 inches, which is twice the size of a generic cotton fiber. Products which highlight construction of Egyptian cotton are usually referring to the extra-long-staple cotton produced largely in the Nile River Valley. The humidity and rich soil around the Nile delta produce especially long cotton fibers, which are fine and vary from a light cream to dark tan color. Egyptian cotton is strong, durable, and if cared for properly, will be long lasting.

Sateen: Sateen fabric has a soft, satin-like finish resulting from a four-over-one thread weave. Standard weaves, like percale, use a one-over, one-under stitch. The four-over weave puts more threads nearer the surface, resulting in a softer, warmer surface. Sateen fabrics are most often made of mercerized cotton, but can be made of other fabrics, including cotton blends, polyester, and rayon. Mercerized threads give sateen fabrics a higher luster. Mercerization, named for process-creator John Mercer, involves treating threads with a cold concentrated sodium hydroxide solution. Mercerization also increases strength, dyeability, and resistance to mildew, as well as reduces lint. Sateens can be produced in light and heavy weights, and are ideal for bedding.
