Not for everyone
This baton is a great price, but people with smaller hands might have an issue using it. The tapered cork end is very long, so to properly hold the baton, it might be uncomfortable unless your hand is decently large.
The baton itself is adequate for its price. I use it for conducting class, but that balance is a bit awkward, so I wouldn't use it for long.
Also, the baton came fairly bent. It is quite noticeable. Not a big deal for practice, but would look funny in front of a group of musicians.
Best Baton Bang for the Buck
Light, well crafted, nice sound made tapping on the podium... I'm pretty harsh on batons so this is excellent for rehearsal and general shenanigans.
Perfect beginner baton
I was taking a conducting class at my university and needed a baton. This one was super cheap and worked great. It was sturdy and light. The handle is made of cork so I'm sure I could break it if I tried but if you're careful then there's nothing to worry about.
